landscapes - Corfe Castle

The ruins of Corfe Castle - destroyed in the Civil War - dominate the village to this day. The view is from one of the bedrooms of a hotel just outside the village centre, and was created with oil, ink, pastel and airbrush. The inn signs on the left-hand side belong to the Bankes Arms, and the top floor of the Greyhound is just visible centre bottom.
